WRITING
From long, ponderous prose set in far away fantasy lands to compelling literary reportage to sardonic media reviews to technical writing to straight journalism, I continue to write for purpose and pleasure. Here are a few examples.

This website is a central online destination for The New 8-bit Heroes core product, a repository for tutorials, assets and user resources, a hub for communal engagement, and an e-commerce solution for license sales.

This is the website for the independent video game Mystic Searches. The site is broken up into unique sections tailored to the user's interest in the project. the Lore section includes art, music, and narrative, and is a very in-world experience of what a user can expect to find in the game. The Development section includes an interactive development timeline that stretches back to 1987 with dozens of pieces of extended media.

This project was a bit more unorthodox. Considering the spirit of the project, In creating the website, I developed a full HTML game that acts as the site's navigation. This experience allows a user to play through the website to find pertinent information, conjuring experiences playing the games for which the documentary explores.

This is a much more complicated site, involving users with tiered permissions, data uploads and management, custom ad management, and makes use of multiple languages in order to provide both a GUI based front end as well as a javascript based emulator by which to play the demoes. It also has a complex e-commerce paradigm for use as a marketplace for verified users to monetize their projects.
